9km from the bustling Turkish market town and harbour of Fethiye with its day boat trips to the 12 Islands and Calis beach town. The town has two well stocked modern supermarkets.
Fethiye was once the ancient Lycian city of Telmessos and there are fine rock tombs cut into the hillside.
